Terms of use

PlainPros lists local tradespeople who create a profile and are approved. A listing is not a recommendation, a guarantee of workmanship, or a contract between a customer and a pro.

A customer can send a request to up to three pros they choose. Quotes and messages stay in the app. A profile is not a recommendation, and a request is not a contract until the customer and pro agree. Reviews, when they are added, can be left only after both sides mark the job complete.

PlainPros staff may review in-app messages between customers and pros for safety, support, and policy enforcement. Opening a conversation is recorded. This draft still needs legal review.

Pros are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, licenses, and insurance. Badges reflect checks an administrator has marked. ID verification is a manual status in this version.

Pricing shown for a pro subscription is informational. No subscription is charged until billing is turned on, and subscription billing is not turned on in this version.

Payments

Prices shown to customers may include a service charge retained by PlainPros. Pros receive the amount of their accepted quote.
